This policy explains how Avenera Ventures Limited (“Avenera”, “we”, “us”) handles personal information collected through aveneraltd.com (the “site”). Avenera is a company registered in Trinidad & Tobago, company number C2026100700016, with its registered office at Light Pole 6/1 8th Avenue North, Barataria, Trinidad & Tobago.
Our portfolio companies may run their own websites and apps. Those services have their own privacy policies, which apply instead of this one.
What we collect
When you contact us. If you use the contact form or email us, we receive your name, email address, the topic you chose, any organisation you name and the content of your message, plus anything you choose to attach or link to (for example, a CV).
When you visit the site. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It does not use cookies, does not track you across other websites and does not build a profile of you. It records information such as the page viewed, the referring site, your browser type and your approximate country.
Security. The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to block spam. Turnstile checks signals from your browser to confirm a person is submitting the form. It does not use advertising cookies.
We do not use advertising or social media tracking on this site.
How we use it
- To reply to your message and keep a record of our conversation
- To consider your application, if you contact us about a role
- To understand how the site is used, so we can improve it
- To keep the site and form secure and free of spam
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for marketing unless you have asked to hear from us.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers to run the site:
- Cloudflare hosts the site, provides analytics and runs the spam check.
- Resend delivers contact form messages to our inbox.
- Our email provider stores the messages we receive and send.
These providers process information on our behalf and may store it outside Trinidad & Tobago. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep messages for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry, and for up to two years after our last contact. Unsuccessful job applications are deleted within twelve months unless you ask us to keep them longer. Analytics data is kept in aggregated form.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Email [email protected]. We will reply within a reasonable time, and we may need to confirm your identity first.
We aim to handle personal information in line with Trinidad & Tobago’s Data Protection Act.
Children
The site is not aimed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
